The Envision San José 2040 General Plan is the City’s long-term roadmap for how it grows over time. It guides what gets built where, including homes, stores, parks, and businesses. Every four years, the General Plan is reviewed, providing an opportunity to assess the City’s progress toward key goals and make any necessary changes.
